Moderators and admin have discussed a few light rules to keep the classified sections running smoothly for both vendors and buyers.

1. Please follow the format guidelines, this keeps ads informative and easy to understand.
2. Advertisments must have a price listed, this is not an auction, a request for near offers is fine.
3. Ebay links are welcomed although in this case DO NOT specify a price unless the link is to a "buy it now" listing. Please supply an auction end date so we can remove the thread after the auction has ended!!
4. Posts in the thread should be on topic and about the specific item listed, no chit-chat.
5. Please read the contact information, if something is being sold for a mate don't ask questions in the advertisment thread!!
6. Caveat emptor, buyer beware. Downunder cannot take responsibilty for advertised items, the transaction is between the vendor and buyer.
7. Please advise asap if you have sold the item so it can be cleaned off the 4 sale section

Has your for sale thread gone missing?

Chances are that you have not read the for sale rules posted in each for sale section.

Click this link:rolleyes:

There is also a template posted in each section to make posting within the rules easy, it also helps potential buyers to understand your ad.

No more PM's explaining why your thread was removed will be issued, the rules are actually fairly relaxed and aimed at helping you sell your gear.

Thankyou all, Craig

The main reason any of us guys will remove a thread is because it does not have a price. When I scan for sale posts that is generally all I look at.........................................
